Book Review

The Last Thing I Remember

I have read this book because I like the author a lot and I also have read The Homelanders series.

The Last Thing I Remember is a book by Andrew Klavan from The Homelanders series. A very popular book series for the young audience.

The main character is Charlie West. He behaves very well at school, he gets good grades, his hobby is karate and he has an eye on the most beautiful girl in school. And later he wants to be a jet fighter pilot... But all of the sudden he woke up strapped to a chair. There is blood everywhere, on the walls and even he is covered in blood. Charlie West is hearing a strange noise, someone is standing outside waiting for his dead. He don’t know what happened to him and also don’t know why he is strapped in a chair. The last thing he remembered is that he was making homework and practicing karate for his black belt. He is very confused. He can’t remember anything.

The author of this book is Andrew Klavan he has wrote a lot of books and he even wrote some movies. He was born in 13 July 1954. I also read some more of his books and I really like it. He is one of my favorite writers. Andrew Klavan’s book stories are always very interesting and entertaining to read, especially this book. The Last Thing I Remember is full of action, exciting moments and full of mysterious chapters, which leads you to read this book more.

The thing I really liked about this book is that it is full of excitement, and I have never read a book like this before. The Last Thing I Remember is a bit similar to the popular Netflix series Prison Break that I really like to watch. I also like Charlie West, the main character because he has a good personality and always tries to be positive, and thats what I really like.

I recommend this book for the young audience, it is easy to understand, because the writer does not always switch between subjects and the author does not use to difficult words so the young people can understand this book better. The Last Thing I Remember has 346 pages in total which is a quite lot, but once you read the first chapter you will keep going to read and read. Trust me this book is definitely recommend for when you want to read during your vacation.
